The Smooth Move Drawbar Conversion kit has been designed to convert ALL Hammond tonewheel organs with ratchet style drawbars to very smooth drawbars. Models A, AB, AV, B, BA, BC, BCV, BV, C, CV, D, DV, RT, B2, C2 and RT2 can be converted to an incredibly smooth and responsive drawbar action. No more ratcheting and no more tone drop-outs in between drawbar settings. Your drawbars can be as smooth as those found on later Hammond models B3, C3 and A100, although some of our customers have told us that their converted drawbars are actually smoother than those on the B3.
Upgrading your drawbars is the single most effective way to enhance the value and playability of your early model Hammond organ.
All drawbar assemblies have been refurbished and converted to smooth drawbars
using our Smooth Move Conversion kit. The conversion consists of new bussboards, drawbar contacts and drawbar guides. All drawbar assemblies are professionally converted and tested prior to shipping.
We can also convert smooth drawbar assemblies (B3,C3,A100) that have been damaged or just plain worn out.
