LESLIE KICKSWITCH
Smooth Move Products is pleased to present our latest product. We have designed and built a high quality Leslie kickswitch specifically for vintage Hammond organs.
This is a true kickswitch, not a bracket with an off-the-shelf stomp switch attached. Our kickswitch is made of 16 gauge steel, is powder coated and can be mounted on either side of the expression pedal.
The kickswitch shown below is for a metal expression pedal (found on A100,B3,C3, RT3) and mounts magnetically to the underside of the expression pedal. No drilling or screws needed to install the switch.
We have also designed a kickswitch for the earlier models with wooden expression pedals which screws onto the pedal.
The kickswitch will interface with any style Leslie, 6, 9 or 11 pin. We have a dual kickswitch for the 9 and 11 pin Leslies which will allow the organist to make use of the stop feature as well as control the Leslie speed.
Our design allows the organist to keep the half-moon switch allowing Leslie speed control by hand as well as foot.
The half-moon switch has LEDs embedded in the case. The LEDs indicate the current speed of the Leslie. The 9/11 pin version has a STOP LED which of course illuminates when in the STOP mode
Each kickswitch comes with a new half-moon switch, a kickswitch interface and a kickswitch assembly. The kit does not replace your existing Leslie interface, it works with it.
For the organist who wants a foot operated Leslie speed control but does not want a kickswitch, we offer a toe-stud which can be mounted anywhere next to the expression pedal.
